Station 45 History

Fire Station 45 serves the midtown and western portions of the City of Simi Valley. It was built in 1978 as a replacement for the previous station that stood on the same site from the early 1930s. Stone remnants of the old station still exist in the monument sign in front of Station 45. The Pacific Avenue Fire Station is staffed daily by three firefighters and houses an engine (Engine 45); a reserve engine (Engine 145). It is also the secondary home for Dozer 4, a fire-fighting bulldozer staffed by an operator and a swamper.
