The Ventura County Fire Department offers a wide variety of community education programs. These programs are designed to prevent injury and or property loss through increased education and public safety awareness.
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent social distancing policies, the Ventura County Fire Department has postponed all events and closed public access to all fire stations and buildings providing non-essential services. Effective immediately, all community outreach and engagement activities are postponed indefinitely. This includes fire station visits, youth programs, public meetings and VCFD’s participation in community events.
