Read MoreIn 2021, the Fire Departments of Ventura County, ABC7 and multiple partner agencies and organizations teamed up to bring the 29th Annual Spark of Love Toy Drive to Ventura County.
This year, the Fire Departments of Ventura County successfully collected over 140,000 toys, supporting more than 25,000 children and over 75 non-profits.
Spark of Love is only possible due to the on-going generosity of thousands of people in our communities across the region.
For the first time ever, we partnered with Food Share. Dedicated to leading the fight against hunger in Ventura County, Food Share provided boxes of food to over 6,200 families served thru this year’s toy drive.
Drop off new, unwrapped gifts and nonperishable food at your local fire station (subject to change anytime due to public health protocol) or participating business. Find a business near you here: vcfd.org/sparkoflovedropoff
Donate online through the Ventura County Professional Firefighters Association (VCPFA):

All proceeds are tax deductible and will go towards buying toys locally and supporting children and teens.

To maintain safety and minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Firefighters of Ventura County will distribute toys to non-profit organizations in Ventura County this holiday season. We do not provide toys directly to individuals and encourage residents to join forces with a participating organization in their community to request toys.
Residents may also call 2-1-1 for information regarding toy drives and resources in their area.

Composed of approximately 600 dedicated men and women, the Ventura County Fire Department is an all-hazard, full-service agency. We proudly provide fire protection, medical aid, rescue, hazardous materials response, and a variety of other services to the public.
