Spark of Love Toy Drive

Spark of Love Toy Drive 2021

Fire Departments of VC Holiday Toy Drive logo

The Fire Departments of Ventura County, ABC7, and Toys for Tots are once again teaming up to bring the 29thAnnual Spark of Love Toy Drive to Ventura County.

Last year, the Fire Departments of Ventura County successfully collected over 100,000 toys, supporting more than 15,000 children and over 30 non-profits.

Spark of Love is only possible due to the on-going generosity of thousands of people in our communities across the region.

This year we are partnering with Food Share. Dedicated to leading the fight against hunger in Ventura County, Food Share will be providing boxes of food to families served thru this year’s toy drive.

Now through Christmas Eve, community members and businesses throughout Ventura County can bring a new, unwrapped toys, sports equipment toys and non-perishable food to any participating location to be donated to local children and teens. All donations collected stay within our community.

How to Donate

Hosting a Toy Drive?

  • Local businesses can request a Spark of Love collection box for their location or event. If you wish to host a drive, please contact Crystal Stratton at Crystal.Stratton@ventura.org to request a collection box.
All participating businesses can pick up donation boxes, posters and collateral materials starting November 1st and should drop off donations to Toy Central in Camarillo no later than Monday, December 13th to ensure delivery to children and teens in time for the holidays.

Toy Requests

To maintain safety and minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Firefighters of Ventura County will distribute toys to non-profit organizations in Ventura County this holiday season. We do not provide toys directly to individuals and encourage residents to join forces with a participating organization in their community to request toys.

Residents may also call 2-1-1 for information regarding toy drives and resources in their area.

Spark of Love children and toys

Because Spark of Love depends on the generosity of our community, the Firefighters of Ventura County cannot guarantee toy delivery or forecast event participation.

Together, we can keep the Spark of Love alive for children
in Ventura County this holiday season!
