Each year in November, the fire agencies of Ventura County hold a remembrance for firefighters who have lost their lives due to job related injuries and illnesses. This year due to COVID-19 we will not have a live, in-person service. Instead, we will share a tribute video.
Composed of approximately 600 dedicated men and women, the Ventura County Fire Department is an all-hazard, full-service agency. We proudly provide fire protection, medical aid, rescue, hazardous materials response, and a variety of other services to the public.
