With Ventura County in Orange Tier, Fire Department Resumes In-Person Services at Headquarters

CAMARILLO – With Ventura County entering the Orange Tier of COVID-19 protocols, the Ventura County Fire Department is resuming in-person services at its 165 Durley Avenue headquarters in Camarillo, such as permitting, inspection requests, and plan checks.

As part of the pandemic response, VCFD closed its headquarters to the public. People needing such services were able to drop off forms in collection boxes but could not meet with staff directly. Even with the reopening, some restrictions remain in place. Anyone needing to use in-person services will need to wear a mask while inside the building.
