The Ventura County Fire Department wishes you and your family a happy and safe 4th of July.
The best way to enjoy fireworks for Independence Day is by attending one of the permitted shows where safety trained professionals take care of the rockets’ red glare and fire department personnel are on site to protect against any fires that might start.
Fireworks displays are scheduled:
Wednesday, July 3 in Moorpark and Fillmore
Thursday, July 4 in Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Simi Valley, Ojai, Camarillo, Ventura and the Channel Islands Harbor.
Drone shows are scheduled:
Thursday, July 4 in Santa Paula and July 7 in Agoura Hills
July 4th Parades are scheduled in Westlake Village, Ventura, Ojai and Channel Islands Harbor.
Personal fireworks are illegal to buy, possess or use throughout Ventura County, except for within the city limits of Fillmore.
