The Ventura County Fire Department joins the community in celebrating Independence Day. We also want everyone to stay safe, so we encourage you to take advantage of one of the excellent fireworks displays around the county.
Permitted fireworks shows are inspected by our Fire Prevention Staff and fire engines are assigned to the events to quickly stop any fires.
In Ventura County, it is against the law to purchase, possess or use any fireworks outside the city limits of Fillmore.
You would feel terrible if fireworks you bought injured a family member or started a fire, so leave the pyrotechnics to the professionals who can put on a much bigger show.
Here’s a list of the fireworks displays in Ventura County.
