VCFD increases advanced life support services to Thousand Oaks with a new firefighter-paramedic squad vehicle. Beginning May 30, Squad-30, staffed by two firefighter-paramedics, will be in service at Fire Station 30 on Hillcrest Drive in addition to the pre-existing engine company housed at that fire station.
Composed of approximately 600 dedicated men and women, the Ventura County Fire Department is an all-hazard, full-service agency. We proudly provide fire protection, medical aid, rescue, hazardous materials response, and a variety of other services to the public.
