Ventura Regional Fire Academy to Host Academy 57 Virtual Graduation

Academy 57 Virtual Graduation

CAMARILLO, Calif. – On May 29th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD) firefighter trainees will receive their badges, marking the end of an intensive and dynamic journey to becoming a firefighter. The graduation will be live-streamed via social media to Facebook Live.

When this academy began, the COVID-19 pandemic had not yet impacted the world. Throughout the academy, modifications were established to ensure the health and safety of the trainees. VCFD routinely used social distancing, face masks, and best health practices in support of the Ventura County Health Officer’s “Stay Well at Home Order” and in compliance with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) safety guidelines.

Join us at our virtual graduation and tune in to https://www.facebook.com/venturacountyfire to share in the accomplishment of our graduates as they receive their badges, are sworn in, and welcomed to the VCFD family.
