PulsePoint Respond is a 911-connected app that can immediately inform you of emergencies occurring in your community and can request your help when CPR is needed nearby. 

PulsePoint AED is a powerful tool to build, manage and mobilize an emergency AED registry. Registered AEDs are accessible to emergency call takers and disclosed to those nearby during cardiac arrest events.

PulsePoint is a public 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation building applications that help public safety agencies inform and engage their citizens.

Ventura County fire and EMS agencies have joined with PulsePoint to help increase the survival rates of cardiac arrest victims.

How the PulsePoint Respond app works:

  • Alerts CPR-trained bystanders to someone nearby having a sudden cardiac arrest that may require CPR. CPR alerts are only shared if the event occurs in a public place (the app is not activated for residential addresses).
  • Shares alerts as local public safety communications center dispatch local fire and EMS resources. Provides real-time feed of fire and EMS emergency calls, offering a unique opportunity for civic engagement and transparency.
