Spark of Love Holiday Toy Drive
Help Light the Spark for the Holidays
Each year, the Fire Departments of Ventura County and ABC7 team up to bring the Spark of Love Toy Drive to Ventura County. As the nation’s largest community toy drive, Spark of Love helps at-need Ventura County children and teens enjoy a happier holiday season.
In 2023, through generous donations from our communities, more than 33,000 local children and teens were gifted by the kindness of our neighbors, businesses and supporting sponsors.
Local firefighters collect new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens in Ventura County. We are once again supporting Food Share. Dedicated to leading the fight against hunger in Ventura County, Food Share provides boxes of food to families served thru this year’s toy drive. Drop off non-perishable food and toys at any location. All donations stay within the community.
HOW TO DONATE
- Drop off new, unwrapped gifts and nonperishable food at your local Ventura County fire station, Ventura City Fire Headquarters, or participating business. Find a business near you here.
- Donate online through the Ventura Fire Foundation here. All proceeds are tax deductible and will be used to support local children and teens. EIN 47-1336798.
- Purchase a gift on our Amazon Wish List registry here. It will be delivered directly to Toy Central for gifting to a hopeful child.
Hosting A toy Drive?
All businesses and organizations participating in the Spark of Love Toy Drive can pick up donation boxes, posters, and collateral materials starting Nov. 1—and should drop off donations at Toy Central in Camarillo no later than Dec. 11 to ensure delivery to at-need children and teens in time for the holidays. After this date, all donations will be redirected to a receiving nonprofit.

Toy Requests
The VCFD does not provide toys directly to individuals, and we encourage Ventura County residents to join forces with a participating organization in their community to request toys. Residents may also call 211 for information regarding toy drives and resources in their area.
