Station 37 History

Fire Station 37 serves the North Ranch area and northeastern portions of the City of Thousand Oaks. It was constructed of concrete masonry and designed to fit into the upscale neighborhood. The developer, as a requirement of the project, provided funds for the station. The North Ranch Fire Station is staffed by three firefighters and houses an engine (Engine 37); a utility van (Utility 137); and a light and air (Light & Air 37).  There are two Light & Air units in the Department that provide electrical power, lighting, air refill for Self Contained Breathing Apparatus and rehab services for firefighters on incidents.
