Station 37 History

Station 37

Fire Station 37 serves the North Ranch area and northeastern portions of the City of Thousand Oaks. It was constructed of concrete masonry and designed to fit into the upscale neighborhood. The developer, as a requirement of the project, provided funds for the station. The North Ranch Fire Station is staffed by three firefighters and houses Engine 37;  Light and Air 37 and Utility 37. There are two Light & Air units in the department that provide electrical power, lighting, air refill for self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and rehab services for firefighters on incidents. The second light and air unit is housed at Fire Station 57.
