Headquarters

The Ventura County Fire Department’s Headquarters are located at 2400 Conejo Spectrum Street in Thousand Oaks.

The department purchased the building in late 2023. Operations started in May of 2024.

The building provides 98,000 square feet of space, which allowed the department to consolidate all its command, administrative, fire prevention and emergency medical services staff at one location with room to grow to meet the always evolving public safety needs of our diverse community.

Previously, the fire department’s headquarters were located at the Camarillo Airport, where it operated from 1992 to 2024. VCFD’s original headquarters were in Santa Paula. Read more about our history here.
