Station history:
Fire Station 26 is located in Battalion 5 serving the west side of the City of Santa Paula and the surrounding unincorporated areas of Ventura County. The original station, located at 12391 W. Telegraph Rd., was relocated to 536 W. Main St., which was previously known as Santa Paula Fire Station 82, when the City of Santa Paula joined the Fire District on July 8, 2018. This location at 536 W. Main is next door to a former location of the Ventura County Fire Department Headquarters. In 1956, the Department moved its headquarters for a third time to 530 W. Main St. from its previous location at 735 Santa Barbara St. in the city of Santa Paula. The Department Headquarters remained in Santa Paula until 1976 when it moved to the Camarillo Airport.
The present station is staffed daily by three firefighters and houses Engine 26 and Brush Engine 326.
