Station 39 History
Fire Station 39 is currently used for some of the department’s operational functions and is available to house reserve apparatus.
Previously, it was the temporary station for a fire engine that is now operating out of Fire Station 38, following the opening of Fire Station 34 and the redeployment of apparatus to best meet the needs of our community.
Composed of approximately 600 dedicated men and women, the Ventura County Fire Department is an all-hazard, full-service agency. We proudly provide fire protection, medical aid, rescue, hazardous materials response, and a variety of other services to the public.
