Fire Station 55 serves the northern portion of the City of Camarillo as well as the Las Posas Valley and the Spanish Hills area. Built in 1968 to serve the Las Posas Estates, the station was remodeled in the early 1990’s. The Las Posas Fire Station is staffed daily by 3 firefighters and houses Engine 55 and Brush Engine 355.
Composed of approximately 600 dedicated men and women, the Ventura County Fire Department is an all-hazard, full-service agency. We proudly provide fire protection, medical aid, rescue, hazardous materials response, and a variety of other services to the public.
